Sequestration could be a $2 billion blow to design, construction ...

It?s not just defense contractors who are worried about sequestration ? the design and construction industry could lose $2 billion in work if across-the-board spending cuts go into effect Jan. 2, The Business Journals reports.

That?s according to a new report by the American Institute of Architects. The report identifies 48 budget accounts funding design, construction and rehabilitation of buildings that would be cut under sequestration. Last year?s deal to raise the debt ceiling calls for $109?
